Tillage is the most draft-heavy work a tractor does, and it is where an incorrectly sized implement shows up fastest. A four-furrow mouldboard plough (moldboard plow) behind a tractor with insufficient drawbar power will not hold depth, and an offset disc harrow that is too wide will simply pull the machine down in wet ground.
